NMC Launches Site for Levy Campaign

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- New Media Campaigns (www.newmediacampaigns.com), a full service North Carolina web design company, is pleased to announce the launch of a new website for the Montgomery County Human Services Levy campaign at www.keephumanservices.org.

The new site gives the campaign an interactive web presence and allows them to streamline communications with voters. The site allows them to host video and photo galleries, sign up members online, accept online contributions, highlight news coverage, and more.

New Media Campaigns designed the site and coded it onto the company's proprietary content management and marketing system. The design highlights images of the campaign's stakeholders, and pushes visitors to action through a quick email signup and graphics highlighting the volunteer and donation options. The campaign is using New Media's technology to update the site with the latest campaign information and to manage an online database of several thousand voters.

Montgomery County is located in Southeast Ohio and has a population of more than a half million people. The issue, on the November 6 ballot, will ask all Montgomery County voters to approve a replacement of 5.21 mills and an increase of 2 mills for services such as home health care for the elderly, foster care services for children, job training for the unemployed, and many more. If the levy fails, the county will lose at least $40 million in funding for these services.

"We are really enjoying working with the levy campaign," said Will Lewis, a New Media Campaigns project manager. "There's a lot at stake with this levy, and we're working hard to ensure the online campaign helps propel them to victory."
