NMC Launches Website for GenerAction

New Media Campaigns is pleased to announce the recent launch of the GenerAction website.  This non-profit organization at UNC empowers youth to make a difference by helping them find volunteer opportunities in the area.  The website allows for the organization to effectively accomplish their mission with features including the calendar displayed on the left of each page.  The calendar shows upcoming volunteer opportunities, which can be clicked for a more detailed description of the event.  After selecting a service event, students can register to join on the site.  The site makes finding and signing up for a volunteer opportunity quick and easy!

GenerAction wanted their site to feature pictures of people around campus volunteering so NMC developed the site with a homepage rotation of these photos as a focal point.  The design of the site is fresh and light-hearted and the green color nicely complements the GenerAction t-shirts that are worn in many of the photos. 

The site is sure to inspire many new volunteers with a call to action to volunteer on every page.  By equipping high school and college students with the necessary resources, this website will help GenerAction boost philanthropic involvement among youth in the community and demonstrate the power young people have to make a difference.
