NMC Launches Website for Larry Maggi for Congress
New Media Campaigns is pleased to announce the recent launch of the Larry Maggi for Congress website. Larry Maggi, born and raised in Southwest Pennsylvania, has experienced more than his fair share of tough times and heartache—financial troubles forcing him to drop out of college then losing his child and later his first wife to cancer—but has demonstrated courage throughout these tragedies in his unwavering perseverance to make his time on this earth count. As Washington County Commissioner, Maggi modernized the department with new equipment and training without breaking the budget, utilizing the valuable insight he gained from personal financial troubles. Maggi is confident that his experiences, common-sense leadership, and drive will allow him to make similar differences in Congress.
With this in mind, the NMC team set out to design a powerful, informative site that would communicate the heart of Maggi’s campaign. The homepage rotation features photos of Pennsylvania and Maggi in uniform from previous government positions with banners that sum up the main ideas of Maggi’s campaign. The My Story page and Fixing Washington page share more detail on Maggi’s experiences, accomplishments, and mission.
The site, developed on the HiFi Content Management System, is integrated with Facebook and Twitter to further connect with his supporters. The Facebook “like” button, conveniently located on the site, will help spread and strengthen Maggi’s campaign following.
The site displays many calls to action including the “Join the Campaign,” found on the bottom of each page, which allows visitors to submit their email and zip code. The side menu invites supporters to share their ideas or endorse Larry via a simple form. Supporters can also donate to the campaign by clicking the bold, red “Contribute” button displayed at the top of each page.
This interactive site is sure to increase support and contribute to a successful campaign. This website is a great addition to the many other political campaign websites designed and developed by New Media Campaigns.
