NMC Launches Website for Public Awareness Campaign
New Media Campaigns recently launched B4U Drink Educator, a non-profit website for a public awareness campaign. Century Council, a non-profit organization that discourages college students from binge drinking, drinking underage, and drunk driving, developed the B4U Drink program to educate the public about the relationship between alcohol consumption and an individual’s Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC).
NMC designed the B4U Drink site, and developed it on the HiFi Content Management System. The site offers a wealth of statistics and facts related to drinking. The site also features a Virtual Bar, which helps people understand how consuming different alcoholic drinks, the passing of time and physical activity affect BAC.
The B4U Drink site also features a blog that includes anecdotes, news and advice relating to drinking. The site design appeals to the targeted audience and features elements of the bar and nightlife atmosphere, such as neon framed signs, and lively colors and fonts. NMC was proud to work on this project, and believes that the site will educate the public about the dangers of drinking excessively.
