NMC Creates Site for NC State Office of Outreach and Engagement

New Media Campaigns had the pleasure of working with NC State again to design a new website.  This time, the site was the university's Office of Outreach and Engagement.  The office is responsible for developing an fostering meaningful collaborations between the university and the world beyond their campus.  NMC previously created NC State's Industrial Extension Service's website so the agency was well-acquainted with the university's brand and style.  Aside from being designed with NC State's signature red and crisp rectangles, NMC designed a site that is intuitive, informative, and outfitted with valuable features.

Visitors to the site will notice how the sharp visuals compliment the information and features without being distracting.  The home page is defined by a sweeping photo that rotates out to highlight stories related to the Office of Outreach and Engagement.  Large header photos also sit at the top of interior pages.  Most of the site's content is made up of information about programs that the Office of Outreach and Engagement carries out.

One of the most impressive features on the site allows visitors to easily search through hundreds of available programs. The 'Advanced Search' tool has options for visitors to look for a particular program based on Keyword, Audience, Topic, or Location. When a visitor goes to one of the program pages, they are shown a summary of the program and are prompted to both learn more about the program and reach out using an auto-fill contact form. 

NMC is confident that this site will provide everything the Office of Outreach and Engagement, plus more, to assist and educate its visitors.  This site stands with others that NMC has worked on for NC State as well as a number of other educational institutions.
