Pepper Pike, a city that is located 13 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio, commissioned New Media Campaigns to redesign and reorganize the structure of their municipal website. Pepper Pike, a city characterized by tradition and charm, has a community band, annual ice cream social and a strong sense of community. New Media Campaigns created a lively, colorful website that represents the community and its identity.
NMC designers feature whimsical scripted fonts, photos of the city framed in blue, and shades of blue and green throughout the website. The website was reorganized to make information readily accessible to visitors. The homepage features an Events Calendar, and a What’s Happening section, which features recent Pepper Pike News. A Quicklinks section, which provides access to the city’s history, government, news and contact information, is also featured on each page of the website.
NMC developers revised sections of the website to optimize how visitor’s accessed information. Developers streamlined the Things to Do Section and organized the local recreational activities and businesses by category. The information on the website is organized intuitively, and clearly to create a pleasant and easy navigation experience for visitors.
The site, which was built on the HiFi Content Management System, is efficient, reliable and easy to edit. Designers and developers at NMC were excited to create a website for Pepper Pike that represents the spirit of the city.
