Building Digital Pathways

Like park pathways carry visitors to points of interest, websites often feature navigational structures that guide users towards key information and desired actions – objectives like subscribing to emails, booking a demo, reading an article, and more. These digital pathways are more subtle than physical ones and come to life as related content and calls-to-action that recommend specific next steps.

When we partnered with Downtown Cary Park on a website redesign, we leaned into the idea of connecting the natural environment with an online experience. We wanted users to be able to explore the park from home and imagine a visit tailored to their hobbies and interests. Maybe a trip to the Bark Bar for dog lovers or an outdoor yoga class for fitness enthusiasts. We wove these pathways into the site by including a dynamic interactive map for visual browsing, an events calendar for daily activities, and amenity pages that highlight all that the park has to offer. Combined, these features create a digital experience that captures the park’s vibrant energy and charm.

IWMF Round Earth Media

Round Earth Media is an initiative from the International Women’s Media Foundation that pairs American journalists with in-country peers to produce important stories about a wide range of topics. To highlight a recent series published by the New York Times, we worked with IWMF to design and build a dynamic landing page that shares images and key quotes from the featured pieces. The design is striking and bold to capture readers’ attention and drive traffic to the full-length stories.
