Best Architecture, Engineering, Construction AEC Website Design Award Goes to McAdams

We were extremely excited and proud to be awarded First Place in the Zweig Group's Marketing Excellence Awards for Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) website award for the website we designed and built with our friends and client at McAdams.  McAdams' new site launched in March after an upfront discovery and strategy period, followed by design, and then building the site on WordPress.

A primary goal was to design a bright, modern, and exciting site that not only separated the firm from more conservative web presences in the AEC industry, but also acted as an echo of their beautifully redesigned spaces. The website bridges the real-world environment and culture of McAdams into the digital world. While this idea was embraced sitewide, it was especially incorporated in the Careers Section,, which has a unique look from the rest of the site.

You can read more about the process and rationale in our portfolio piece about the McAdams AEC website.  The award was not just due to the redesign, but also to the results driven by the new site.  The new site strategically reorganized the site information architecture to promote important elements, better connected different pieces of the site with related content, earns a 98/100 on Google's page speed score, and increased organic traffic by double digits percentage post-launch. 

The team at McAdams were unbelieveable partners throughout the process, collaborating closely with our team to help us understand their goals and encouraging our team to try out unique and new ideas.  We were already incredibly proud of the launched site and being recognized with this award just adds to our excitement.  Congrats to McAdams and the others in the category!
