100th Fridays With the Firm
A couple of years ago, we started our “Fridays With the Firm” weekly office tradition. Each Friday, we all make an effort to be in the office and head out to lunch as a group.
Since many of us often work remotely during the week or travel to client meetings, FWTF provides an opportunity to catch up with each other, learn what everyone’s been working on for the week, and have some fun while we’re at it.
Every 25 Fridays, we make it a point to venture out of the Carrboro restaurant scene and do something a little more special. In the past we’ve done a picnic at Clay and Alex’s house, and a fancy lunch at Chapel Hill’s 411 West, but for the 100th anniversary we knew we had to do something big.
We often talk about doing something in Durham since about half of our team now resides there, so we decided to make a day of it. We started off with a delicious lunch at Bull City Burger, had a little friendly competition of putt-putt, then ended the day with happy hour at Geer Street Garden and ping pong at Fullsteam Brewery.
We had a blast hanging out with each other and exploring some of Durham, and can't wait for the 125th Fridays With the Firm!
